What we collect

We keep data collection minimal. If you subscribe to the newsletter, we store the email address you provide. If you place an order, our checkout and fulfillment partners process the name, shipping address, and contact details needed to make and ship your order. If you contact us, we keep your message and email so we can reply.

We use privacy-respecting analytics to understand which guides are useful. This measures pages and general traffic patterns, not individual identities.

Affiliate links

Some outbound gear links are affiliate links routed through our own /go redirects. When you click one, we record the click for our own measurement and set a first-party attribution cookie. As an Amazon Associate we may earn a commission when you buy through these links, at no extra cost to you.

Payments

Merch payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number — Stripe handles card data under its own PCI-compliant terms. We receive only the order metadata needed to fulfill and support your purchase.

We use functional cookies (such as affiliate attribution) and analytics cookies. You can clear or block cookies in your browser; the site still works, though some measurement and attribution will not.

Your choices
